Proxy Issues
Proxy Not Working After Profile Launch
The profile launches but traffic isn't going through the proxy. Check: Is the proxy assigned to the correct profile? Is the proxy valid (click Check)? Some proxies have IP allowlists — whitelist your server's IP with the proxy provider.
Slow Proxy Speed
Residential proxies are slower than datacenter proxies by nature. For speed-sensitive tasks, use datacenter proxies. For anonymity-sensitive tasks (social media, e-commerce), residential proxies are worth the speed trade-off.
Proxy Works but IP Leaks via WebRTC
Go to the profile's Advanced tab → WebRTC → set to Disabled. This blocks WebRTC entirely, preventing IP leaks. Verify at browserleaks.com/webrtc.
SOCKS5 Proxy Not Connecting
Some corporate firewalls block SOCKS5. Try switching to HTTP/HTTPS protocol with the same proxy credentials. If your provider supports both protocols, use HTTP as a fallback.
Proxy Banned by Target Site
Datacenter proxies are commonly blocked by major platforms. Switch to residential or mobile proxies. Use one proxy per account and avoid sharing proxies between profiles on the same platform.
Proxy Authentication Fails
Some proxy formats use colons in the password — make sure to URL-encode special characters if pasting in URL format. Or use the individual field inputs (host/port/user/pass) instead of a single connection string.
