Profile Sync

MeetLogin automatically syncs all profile data — cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, session data — to the cloud, so your profiles are always up-to-date across devices.

How Sync Works

  1. When you launch a profile, MeetLogin downloads the latest profile data from the cloud.
  2. Data is decrypted locally and loaded into the Chromium profile directory.
  3. When you stop the profile, the updated profile data is compressed, encrypted, and uploaded back to the cloud.

Encryption

All profile data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before leaving your device. The encryption key is derived from your account and stored securely. MeetLogin cannot read your profile data — it's zero-knowledge by design.

Sync Status

The profile row shows the current sync status:

  • Ready (gray) — Profile is idle and synced.
  • Syncing (blue, pulsing) — Downloading profile data.
  • Launching (yellow, pulsing) — Starting the browser.
  • Running (green, pulsing) — Browser is open and active.
  • Uploading (purple, pulsing) — Saving session data to cloud.
  • Error (red) — An error occurred. Check your internet connection.

Offline Mode

If you lose internet while a profile is running, the profile continues to work. When connectivity returns, the sync will complete automatically. Profile data is not lost.
